Every report personally reviewed  ·  21 years Contracting  |  Over a Decade Roofing  ·  Delivered within 24 hours

Three independent vettings. One cross-checked report.

Every Private-i report is the work of three independent investigations of the same contractor, run in parallel and then cross-checked. AI research has a margin of error: a single pass can miss a record, misread a date, or fabricate a citation. We run three. Where the three agree, the finding holds up. Where they disagree, the disagreement is the finding, surfaced clearly so you can see exactly where to verify before you sign.

Your report shows all three scores side by side, in every category, so you can see exactly how confident the methodology is in each finding.

Four steps. 24 hours. Confidence before you sign.

We do the research most homeowners don't know how to do - so you can make a fully informed decision before writing a check.

Common questions.

What does the report include?

State license verification, insurance verification, BBB complaint history, court and lien records, state licensing board disciplinary actions, online reputation summary, a risk level (Low / Moderate / Elevated), and a pre-signing action checklist with specific steps to take before you sign.

What is "Triple Distilled"?

Triple Distilled is our standard methodology: every report is the result of three independent vetting passes against the same contractor, cross-checked into one final report. Each pass scores six categories (licensing, legal, business identity, customer sentiment, insurance, online presence) on a 0-100 rubric. The Final score for each category is the rounded average of the three passes, and your report shows all four numbers (Pass 1, Pass 2, Pass 3, Final) so you can see exactly how confident the methodology is in each finding.

Why? AI research has a real margin of error. A single pass can miss an OSHA citation, fabricate a license number, or score a contractor higher than the evidence supports. Three independent passes catch what one would miss, and any disagreement between them is surfaced in the report rather than hidden. The disagreement itself becomes part of what you're paying for.

How fast do I get it?

Within 24 hours of payment - usually faster. We'll email it directly to the address you provide.

What if my contractor comes back clean?

You sign with confidence. That's the whole point. A clean report is still a valuable report.

Is this legal advice?

No. This is an informational risk-awareness report. Every claim is sourced and timestamped. It is not legal, financial, or professional advice. Private I Contractor Vetting is operated by PAGIOS, a DBA of Pagios Enterprises LLC.

What if I disagree with something in the report?

Reply to your delivery email within 30 days and we'll review the disputed item. If we find an error, we'll correct it and re-deliver at no charge.

What states do you cover?
